Terms of Service
Last updated: 28 May 2026
These Terms govern your use of frank.careers (the "Service"), operated by Grit Talent Ltd ("frank", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter a contract.
2. Your account
- You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
- You agree to provide accurate, current information about yourself.
- One account per person. No sharing of accounts.
3. Talent users
- You retain ownership of your profile, CV and other content you submit.
- You grant Frank a licence to display this content to relevant employers when you apply or request an introduction.
- You're responsible for the accuracy of your application materials.
4. Employer users
- You confirm you represent the hiring company directly and are not a recruitment agency, RPO or third-party hiring service (unless we've agreed otherwise in writing).
- Job listings must be truthful, lawful, non-discriminatory and for real positions.
- You'll handle candidate data in line with UK GDPR and your own privacy notice.
- Pricing for listings or matching services is as stated at point of order and confirmed by us in writing.
5. Frank's role as intermediary
frank operates as a curated intermediary between talent and employers. In particular:
- Company profiles, role information and other listings on Frank are predominantly created and maintained by the Frank team, not by employers directly.
- Applications and introduction requests submitted by talent are reviewed by the Frank team before being shared with an employer.
- Where a company is not yet registered on frank, the Frank team may approach that company directly on the talent's behalf in response to an introduction request. Applications can only be submitted to companies already registered on frank. Until a company has registered and accepted these Terms, they will not receive access to talent profiles, CVs or contact details through the platform.
- Employers registered on Frank only see talent information once they have created an employer account and accepted these Terms.
- Frank does not guarantee that any introduction, application or outreach will result in a response, interview or offer.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Scrape, copy or republish data from the Service without permission.
- Submit false, misleading or discriminatory content.
- Attempt to compromise the security of the Service or other users' accounts.
- Use the Service for unsolicited marketing or recruitment outside its intended purpose.
7. Fees & payment (employers)
Where you've selected a paid option (e.g. job listing or matching commission), payment terms are confirmed at the point of order. All fees are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise. Late payments may accrue interest at the statutory rate.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, including its design, code and content (excluding user-submitted content), is owned by frank and protected by intellectual property laws.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is". We don't guarantee that any application will result in an interview or hire, or that any job listing is accurate or available. We're not a party to any employment contract between talent and employers.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, frank's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) £100 or (b) the fees you've paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death, personal injury or fraud.
11. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.
12. Changes to these Terms
We'll notify you of material changes by email or in-app. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
